Hello teacher and classmates.
Today i´m going to talk about of music, but not any kind of music, but the music to your parents listened when they was young and today they following listening and listened when we were a child, and this music has left an imprint on us, the children.
So, i´m going to talk from to my experience, and i tell you that when i was a child all the majority of our summer like a family Lorca - Carrizo we went to Pichidangui (in IV Region) or Consistorial (El Tabo, V Region), and in all the trips in the car my dad put on cassette of "Creedence Clearwater Revival", like consecuences to that, today my brother Ricardo is the fan number one to this group. The last year, in November, this group comes to Santiago, and my brother did everything possible to get a ticket...finally he went to the recital and he talk always of that "religous experience".
Other situation is when i had approximately 6 or 7 years, and my mom was going to leave us to school. Almost every morning in the car we listening "The Carpenters", obiously this group don´t helped to wake up us, but my brothers and i sleep way to school. Today none of the brothers Lorca- Carrizo is a fan of this group, however every time we heard it, sing the songs almost by inertia.
Another important moment is when had been family reunions, parties, birthdays, etc. in any of this celebrations or meetings the music is main, and always, in all of this meetings almost for obligation the family must listening "onda disco" and rock and roll. Is so funny because my mum, my dad and this generation (they brothers, sisters, cousins) dancing a long long time. Of course the consecuences of this moments (apart to the hangover) are my brothers and i likes so much this music, and unconsciously, in ours meeting with our friends this music is present, maybe not rock and roll, because want to dance and nobody knows how to do very well, but "onda disco" yes, is very present. In added, the favourites group of my sister comes from this influence and are "KC and the sunshine band" or "Gloria Gaynor", "Parliament", inclusive "The Bee Gees".
And you, what is the musical influence that your parents let you?
